i can't help but wonder if the reason i never want to blog or write in general anymore is i'm finally relatively content with current circumstances.

- awesome roommate
- awesome partner (related)
- okay job (though money is/will probably always be an issue; currently nearly $200 in the hole; could be worse)
- awesome friends (i made an effort to weed out the shitheads)
- awesome things to do (volunteer workshop for the women's shelter, local food night!)

everything seems so lovely, with the exception of conversations with my dad about becoming completely financially independent (i'm, like, 80% there) where he reminds me i'm 23 and still need help. little does he know, the independently-owned, benefit-less, low-paying video store will always look better to me than most anything else available. health insurance be damned.

speaking of, i'm sick, but my last doctor's appointment ended with an eyedrop purchase of $89.99 (still not over that) so i refuse to go.
